Primary Curriculum
PreK and Kindergarten are years of joy that help the child interact with peers, respect the rights of others, and foster student-teacher relationships. These experiences lay the foundation for academic success not only in their early years but every school year that follows. In these grades, teachers will help the child develop the social-emotional attitudes necessary for a positive self-image. Students learn to adapt to being part of a school community, become inquisitive, and discover that learning is exciting, stimulating, and fulfilling.

Elementary Curriculum
Elementary years include a challenging, balanced, age-appropriate curriculum. IHM’s elementary school program focuses on each student’s learning style. By incorporating the best practices of teaching into our daily curriculum, teachers strive to meet each student’s needs. Our student-centered, interactive classrooms are designed to develop critical thinkers who can work well with others to solve real-world problems.

Middle School Curriculum
IHM Middle School provides a unique educational setting for early adolescents. We believe that a good middle school creates a balanced, positive transition from the elementary years to high school. In order to accomplish this goal, we have designed specific activities to meet the social, physical, intellectual, and emotional needs of our students in grades 6-8. Activities include an Advisor/Advisee Program (Quad A), service projects, overnight retreats, interdisciplinary hands-on learning activities, and opportunities to explore various careers and hobbies. Additionally, student-led parent/teacher conferences help hold students accountable for their behavior and academic progress.
